Business Analyst

Who are we?

Ultrafast Fibre (UFF) is leading New Zealand’s ultrafast broadband revolution. Our team is focused on enhancing the experiences of our customers, as they connect to our world-class Ultra Fast Broadband (UFB) network and experience what it means to truly ‘go faster’.

Our vision is to enable more New Zealanders to tap into all the benefits that UFB brings.  We believe that high-speed internet will enhance and, in many ways, revolutionise the way New Zealanders communicate, work, play, learn and are entertained online.

What will the role involve?

Our Business Analysts sit within our ICT team and enable the business to thrive during transformation, adapt to emerging technologies and execute the company vision. Our Business Analysts aren’t all about following a strict process, they are out of the box thinkers who understand, simplify, structure, document and communicate complex information to the company in a way that resonates for the audience.

What will you need to bring with you?

To be successful in this role you will need to be suitably qualified and experienced.  Although you may not necessarily have telecommunication industry experience, you will have intermediate experience as a Business Analyst within a fast paced environment.

You will be a passionate creative thinker who feels just as comfortable looking at the big picture as they do getting into the detail. You will need to be comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in your approach so you can change direction at the last minute if necessary.  In your previous roles you would have used impact assessment tools such as the t-shirt process, poker planning and the traditional cost benefit analysis in your decision making.
