What will the role involve?
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to work within our Assets team, to provide a long-term network maintenance planning and investment function and oversight of the Network (Layer 1) Asset Management Plans to ensure proper, effective and efficient network operation and compliance with UFF contractual obligations.
You will be responsible for translating the maintenance strategy into a program of works from concepts and templates into real plans. To measure and manage maintenance budget spend and job completion. To contribute to network standards, investigations and system updates to improve maintenance delivery and network performance.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Recognised Tertiary qualification in Planning, Maintenance Planning, or proven on the job experience
- Full clean driver’s license is essential
- A Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in creating, implementing and/or utilising maintenance plans is preferred
- Experience and understanding of operational aspects of networks
- Proven ability to document a maintenance plan, including desired outcome and process requirements
